The good news is technology continues to improve in a big way, making our lives easier.

The bad news is all this technology is turning us into idiots.

According to a new study from Stanford University, there is an ongoing decline in the intelligence of the average human.  And, our lack of intelligence is expected to continue for generations because our genes are actually being mutated along the way – and passed along to our offspring.

According to a new survey, young adults would rather give up their cars than their smartphone or laptop.

30 percent of people aged 18 to 34 said giving up their mobile phone or laptop would have the greatest negative impact on their life – edging out their car, which came in at 28 percent.

According to a new study from the National Institutes of Health, the average emergency room visit now costs 40 percent more than a month’s rent.

Researchers looked at the Top 10 most common reasons people visit the emergency room and how much each one cost.

They found that the average charge for an emergency room trip came out to $1,233 – which is 40 percent higher than the average American rent right now.
